BidX1 South Africa has launched its latest sales catalogue, offering a strong line-up of properties ahead of its second digital auction on Wednesday 3rd July.
The catalogue offers 52 assets and comprises a range of appealing residential properties as well as a number of commercial listings, including two well-located developments in Gauteng near Johannesburg suitable for owner-occupiers or investors.
Among the highly desirable residential properties on offer is a five-bedroom, six-bathroom luxury mansion located in the exclusive Eagle Canyon Golf Estate in Johannesburg, one of the most sought-after golf residences in South Africa. With a cinema room, pool, jacuzzi, staff accommodation and views over the fairway, the property is listed with a reserve price of R12.5 million (£671,000).
Also going under the digital hammer on 3rd July is an exclusive property located in the upmarket Silver Lakes Golf Estate, Pretoria. Overlooking the local game reserve and with its own private boma – or animal enclosure – this four-bedroom, four-bathroom house benefits from exceptional finishes throughout. Game roam freely across the estate and the property’s indigenous garden is often visited by antelope and zebra. The property has an opening bid of R7.5 million (£402,400).
Two other properties of note are a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house in the Cape Winelands, close to Cape Town, with mountain views and listed with an opening bid of R4.2 million (£225,300); and a three-bedroom, two-bathroom designer home in popular Craighall with easy access to all major hubs and an opening bid set at R3.85 million (£207,000).
MC du Toit, CEO of Sales at BidX1 South Africa, was confident that in the current economic climate, there were good deals to be had: “While post-election we are generally seeing increased confidence in the property market, there is still value in solid investments across all sectors, whether it be residential, office, retail or industrial."
