  • Tarragona has a large number of bars and restaurants; it also has two large shopping centres: El Corte Inglés, opened in 2010, and Parc Central, a large area with clothes shops, toy shops, electrical appliances shops and a cinema room with an integrated Eroski, located in the city centre. Beyond the activity related to the provincial capital, commerce, teaching services related to the University and other educational centres and, especially, the tourist sector, with its extensive beaches and the PortAventura amusement park as the main exponents.
